Gabriela Domecq was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, to a family of six generations of wine producers.

This environment encouraged her to develop her sense of smell from a young age, nourishing her wish to become a perfumer.

Gabriela studied biology in the University of Seville and later was chosen to attend, by invitation only, Takasago International Corporation Perfumery School, a renamed Fragrance and Flavors company.

After graduating, Gabriela worked for Takasago in Paris, Amsterdam, New York and São Paulo for over 12 years, where she achieved success in all categories of the industry especially in fine fragrance.

In 2010 Gabriela launched her own brand, Queenie DomecQ, a fine perfumery boutique company where she practices the art of exclusive made to measure perfumes.
